INTRODUCTION

Stimulates the assimilation of calcium and strengthens the constitution.

Inefficient assimilation of calcium can be the cause of low resistance towards pathogenic germs. Its administration is indicated if there is a tendency of the child to suffer from colds, sore throat, otitis or bronchitis. Calciokind improves the metabolism of calcium and consequently reinforces the immune response. Also, this medicine has a favourable influence on the development of the bones, teeth and growth of the child.

Composition:

Each tablet of 100mg contains:

Calcarea carbonica Hahnemanni 3x 20mg

Calcarea fluorica 3x 20mg

Calcarea phosphorica 3x 20mg

Sulphur iodatum 4x 20mg

Excipient Q.S.

Proven indications of the individual ingredients in the sphere of claimed action:

Calcarea carbonica Hahnemanni: It suits children who apparently look healthy, and well-nourished but are sluggish both mentally and physically, is slow at school and games, has weak muscles and are liable to sprain their ankles or catch colds easily. It covers areas like enlarged tonsils and enlarged cervical glands which are common in children with low immunity.

Calcarea fluorica: Poor assimilation of calcium often leads to delays in dentition and this drug along with Calcarea phosphorica covers the problem efficiently. The indication also covers problems related to weak defences like follicular sore throat, head colds, ineffectual desire to sneeze, stuffy cold, dry coryza, hacking cough from tickling in larynx or frequent hoarseness of voice after crying or reading loudly.

Calcarea phosphorica: It is especially suited for anaemic children, peevish, having cold extremities and feeble digestion. It covers calcium deficiency and is indicated for pain in bones and hypertrophy of adenoid tissues. It improves the immune defence mechanism through its role in the promotion of healthy cells.

Sulphur iodatum: It covers pain in coughing, swallowing, swelling of gums, flux, sneezing, itching, and skin eruptions in irritable, indifferent subjects very commonly met where the child suffers from weak defences.

DOSAGE :- Unless otherwise prescribed by the physician, it can be given 2 tablets 3 times a day.
